Paris, February 21, 2019. Continental announced at the FlotAuto in Paris that OTA keys, part of the company’s Key as a Service (KaaS) portfolio within its Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) segment, is further strengthening its gold partnership with Moovendi.
Moovendi is a subsidiary of Groupe Rousselet, leading mobility player in France, which owns ADA short rentals, Taxi G7 and behind the Moov’in.Paris car sharing initiative launched last year.

Continental’s Bluetooth based, turnkey solution enables a hassle-free, virtual access experience for users of both station-based as well as free-floating mobility services from ADA’s fleet of 2000 vehicles all over France. These include the company’s car sharing, rental and corporate customers as well as the 500 Renault electric vehicles which are a part of Moovendi’s first free-floating car sharing project, Moov’in Paris, a collaboration between Moovendi, ADA and Renault.
The comprehensive and flexible solution comprises Continental’s KaaS technology to enable keyless lock, unlock and start for vehicles at the click of a button, together with Moovendi’s software solution for the website, mobile application and backend management. As a result, the user enjoys a completely smooth car rental or sharing experience via the mobile application.

Continental’s Key as a Service is a proven aftermarket access solution, which authorizes lock, unlock and engine start, with quick time to market, and no changes to the car’s existing circuitry. The solution is based on Continental’s state-of-the-art remote unlock hardware and offers scalability across manufacturers, vehicle models and geographies.
Moovendi is a part of the French mobility company ADA. Created in 1984, ADA is a subsidiary of the Rousselet Group, established throughout France as the leader in local rental, both for passenger and commercial vehicles under the ADA and POINT LOC brands. Organized exclusively under franchise and brand licensing, the ADA network has more than 1000 branches in metropolitan France. In 2017, ADA launched its 100% connected service and now offers self-service vehicles, accessible 24/7 with the ADA application developed by Moovendi.
